Typical results from our coaching, training and consulting work include:

  • Increasing a law firm’s share of a major financial institution’s professional advisory spend. We worked with a specialist team from a UK Top 15 law firm to enhance their influence networks within a household-name financial institution, leading to accelerated business acquisition at lower cost, an improved competitive position, and a pool of younger associates with increased confidence in their ability to contribute to the partners’ BD efforts.
  • Building deeper, broader business relationships. For leading professional firms, we have designed and delivered relationship-building programmes to maximise the value of precious, non-billable, marketing time.
  • Creating dramatically greater impact and influence in presentations and marketing seminars. We have designed and delivered open interpersonal influence programmes which have helped professionals at all levels to further their careers and increase their positive impact on clients.
  • Turning around a practice group going through a difficult time. We worked with the practice area head of a major law firm to fix troublesome internal politics, improve working capital management and get his team focused on business development.
  • Helping a newly promoted MD to ‘step up’ to the demands of the role during a time of ambitious growth. We worked with the Managing Director of a research consultancy to strengthen delegation and accountability throughout the business, enabling her to concentrate on strategy and key client relationships.
  • Enhancing the career progression of ambitious associates. We have coached professionals at firms such as DLA Piper , KPMG and Martineau to improve their delegation results, achieve promotions and improve their business development, leading to a greater contribution to the business, increased personal success for those individuals, and enhanced perception of their organization as an employer-of-choice.
  • Enhancing a service group's standing as a proactive business partner of the Board. For the Facilities Management group of a global law firm, we facilitated an operational review to enable them to meet the challenges of the firm's ambitious growth strategy. The process produced innovative ways to redesign processes and redeploy assets for greater return on the firm's facilities spend.
