ULR Litigation Manager

Objectives of the Litigation Manager:
To profitably manage a caseload of litigated uninsured loss claims acting at all times in the best interests of the Claimant.
To manage all the litigation in the ULR unit and assist the Team Leader with the supervision, monitoring and development of the team litigators.
To ensure that all of the work carried out within the ULR Team is of the highest standard.

Reporting to the ULR Team Leader you will be responsible for:
1. Conducting a case load of complicated and higher value ULR and credit hire claims.
2. Managing the litigation within the ULR team and be responsible for supervising litigators.
3. Training and developing litigators and pre-action claim handlers.

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive or an individual with 5 years experience of RTA claims in either a solicitors or insurers environment to join our team.
Credit hire/ repair and ULR claims experience is essential for this role, alongside an in depth knowledge of liability and quantum issues with particular expertise in issues surrounding credit hire/repair and ULR claims, with a willingness to keep up to date with legal developments in these areas.

You will have the ability to work to deadlines and income targets, with minimum supervision. A strong focus on client care, good interpersonal skills and demonstrable negotiation skills are essential in this role.

As role requires the training and coaching of litigators in the team, supervisory skills will be advantageous.
