Immediately available Insurance paralegals x 6

DWF has six immediately available paralegal roles in Liverpool city centre working on a client site and dealing with Insurance matters. Candidates will be required to undergo CRB checks as part of the offer process. The roles are initially six month fixed term contracts with the possibility of this being extended. Ideally candidates will have a strong academic background and the recruitment process will comprise a verbal reasoning test following by an interview with the DWF Partner leading the project.

Generic duties will be based around the following:

1. Action all cases in line with Practice Group/client service standards and protocols.
2. Use of the Case Management system and / or use of standard documentation wherever appropriate to maximise cost efficiency.
3. Proactively settle/assist in the settlement of cases to the satisfaction of the client whilst further developing legal technical knowledge.
4. Analyse risk and develop sound judgement to justify decisions in the management of cases.
5. Prioritise work efficiently and effectively to ensure client service level agreements and deadlines are met.
6. Understand the role in the context of the Practice Group and proactively seek to increase contribution via the allocation of work.
7. Work flexibly in adjusting to changes in priority of workload as dictated by the Practice Group.
