Main purpose of the role:
The Restructuring team within our Company Commercial practice group deals with companies in distress and distressed lending situations for funders. We are one of the top tiers in the Northwest with a reputation for practical commercial advice. The team has a great reputation and panel positions with all major lenders, ensuring quality instructions.
We are looking for a Solicitor to join the team, supporting the Partner and Associate in delivering commercial solutions for clients in a variety of formal insolvencies and bank-led restructuring.
Key responsibilities:
You will draft a range of documents for clients, including agreements and security reviews as required; liaise with other practice areas, such as Banking, Corporate and Real Estate to deliver transactions.
In addition you will supervise the work of junior Solicitors and Trainees and participate in and support business development activity.
Skills and experience:
With a strong commercial acumen, you will have specific experience in non-contentious restructuring and transactional work. Experience of contributing to pitches and business development activity would be advantageous.
