Our employee incentives group advises on all aspects of employee share schemes and other types of share and cash-based incentives both within and outside the UK. We advise on the design and implementation of compensation and incentive arrangements, including current trends, corporate governance issues and remuneration committee support; tax-effective share allocations for participants and companies; regulatory and tax issues; and the financing of plans. We also advise on the incentive aspects of takeovers, demergers and other corporate actions.
The employee incentives team is part of Herbert Smith's wider Employment, Pensions and Incentives (EPI) group, and we work closely with our employment and pensions colleagues to provide clients with a co-ordinated service. We also work closely with colleagues in practice areas across our international network notably corporate and tax, and our Alliance colleagues Gleiss Lutz and Stibbe to provide our clients with advice that is fully rounded, commercial and constructive.
