Presidential hopefuls in front of live TV cameras

50 years on from when the US put their Presidential hopefuls in front of live TV cameras we have finally caught on. Unfortunately for some lawyers however I don’t think it will take us another 50 years to follow the US when it comes to Associate Lockstep in law firms. This is where a lawyer no longer earns more money as a right of being one more year older (and one more year PQE) but in fact his/her salary goes up purely on the basis that they are ‘better’ at their job and therefore can be charged out a higher rate. PQE is dead – long live PQE!
