Tim Bates has been involved in the staffing solutions market since 1990 when he joined Robert Walters Associates. In 1994 following the acquisition of Daniels Bates by the then Harrison Willis Group he was appointed Managing Director of the legal brand and has remained in this sector, and more broadly professional services recruitment, ever since. Believing passionately in constantly improving the recruitment offeringto both clients and candidates alike he was one of the first to recognise in-house legal as a stand alone market, the benefits of search for law firms outside of London, and now - a ‘hybrid’ job board i.e. combining all the benefits of a job board and a traditional recruitment consultancy but delivering a service that is superior to both.
